Take Away Food

Ok normally i wouldnt even think about suggesting takeaway for the urban survivalist but today i went to Subway and i have to say for $7 for a footlong with ham and ALL the salad thats not bad.  Surely they cant be making much off that but i suppose they buy everything in extreme bulk. Ok its not the best value but for $7 its pretty reasonable and its healthy too.  I would stay right away from any other takeway shops if youre looking for good value eats.

    well good point there but I still am going to avoid Subway like the plague :D
    maybe that's because Subway over here in Germany is expensive as hell

    Only £2 in the UK for a 6" sub of the day, can't remember how much extra it is for a footlong but if I'm with some bros we normally get a footlong between 2 people. Saves money for the same thing.

    No bro, my deli sells ham for $3 / pound. Cheaper if you get the whole brick.

    You'd be surprised how cheap franchises are.

    What'd your food actually look like? I KNOW it wasn't nearly as pretty as the picture.

    Actually it probably looked better than the pic. That one up there looks a bit messy honestly. Its gotta be the one place where the food does look as good as the pic. At least for the salad sandwiches.

    Where do you live? All the Subways in my area are $5 footlongs. I heard in Vegas they're $10.

    It's so frustrating when only certain Subways do the $5 footlong deal, and when you order your sub it comes out to some insane price.

    I usually stick to some sort of generic turkey sub since I'm so picky.
